GREEN ORANGES

Playing with some thumped-out hip-hop.. Trying to make dark boom-bap with some complexity, without overloading it.

Hip-hop, perhaps, but if I heard some Nicola Conte or Ane Brun (Koop) sing along, it would be some great funk/Acid Jazz.
Kinda reminds me of some stuff one would find on the "Best of Cookin" compilation cd's as well smile

This had me bobbing my head to it and the deep bass is really amazing

been a minute since i checked in. this is VERY GOOD THUMP
hope all is well with you

Wow, this has such a nice instant vibe! The atonal melody also somehow works together with the rest and gives it a very other worldly and thriller vibe. This has a massive (pun intended) trip-hop vibe and with some vocals this could really shine. Overall, this was really awesome to listen to and a job well done! Cheers!

Awesome, thank you! The dissonant hip-hop vibe is something I struggle with. Glad it's working!
