Love the tone quality of the piano and those lil pedal sounds especially.  A beautiful piece that soothes the soul.

Thank you, I appreciate it.  This is a VST (Native Instruments Noire Felt), but I really leaned into getting that "close" miked piano sound, those mechanical sounds just always give things a notably intimate feel, and I think it played well with this track. 

Almost there... real rest coming soon... I realized earlier today that next weekend will be the first real whole weekend I will have had this year... SO STOKED. 

You're too kind.  And I'm honored by the comparison.  That's really good idea, I'm planning doing another ambient series (inspired by one of your comments), and the topic for this series would actually lend itself well to having some piano like this incorporated... so that may actually be a thing that happens in a few weeks.

Thanks, yeah Native Instruments man... their software is constantly infuriating... but man actual sounds they have, hard to argue with.  The Noire Felt is one of my favorites for exactly this kind of sound.
