YOU_NAME_IT

After a sixteen bar loop was created, I turned to my son, we shared a satisfied smile. I asked him what to name it, his reply ... "You Name It", and so it was.

I started with the chords on an Omnisphere Rhodes Patch and a Pad, twinkles by Playbox and reverb. My son added some claps, kick, and the first melodic horn lead. Basic drums and first melody finished, I took it from there to wind out the track, lots more drum programming, arps, melodies, and various modular patches. Hope you all enjoy.

I always love where these collabs end up. I hope you enjoy.

To all those that listen, I am truly grateful.

Glad you've been able to create some works with your son.  That's a really cool thing to be able to share.  Love the story behind the title as well.  I especially liked the lead synth line near the end of the track.

another excellent family collaboration! love how it slowly builds up speed, like a train taking off. great sound choices, great movement, great title  heart

Beautifully smooth and groovy. Nice!

Sounds great and swinging!

Really enjoyed the story of the name big_smile

Oooh love the sound of that underlying synth arp. and the 303 line.  Excellent breaks peppered throughout, hell yais!  That pulsing synth at 2:12ish is extra appreciated with it's deep tones.  Everything is panned so nice in the mix too giving each other space.  A sweet family collab indeed and love the naming process smile
