WINE

Been listening to this one with my eyes closed all day. Cruising the streets of a broken city in an old Caddy, taking in the sights as the sun goes down. Parts of the city shutting down, bodegas gathering their goods outside on the sidewalk, the daily garbage is just starting to pile up on the curb. Other parts of the city are just to wake up getting ready for the evening action as a light rain begins to fall. No destination in mind just out for a cruise.

I hope you all had a great week.

Love that dark grit with the punchy drums in front.

Well done. A great soulful track.

I like the description of the broken city.  It really sets the scene and I can picture it vividly in my mind while listening to the track.  I particularly like that ascending synth line that starts around 3:41

The bassline matches your description so well.  A bit of futuristic meets dirty 80sEra_NYC-ish streets. Awesome use of the soulful vocals.  Once again awesome drums especially in that powerful kick that punches thru the synths.  Nice change up with that cascading synth lead too.  The intro/outro synth triggered memories a bit of the Pixies' "Where is My Mind" smile

These drums HIT. Love all the samples throughout. Very laid back, nothing is rushed, truly cruising with no destination in mind. You really know how to let it breeeeaaathe.

thanks for taking us along for this absolute CRUISE.
really tasty grit on this mix, feels so good. nice work, mzunguko!

Thanks for all the support, we are reaching the final push. Being ill has allowed me to really sink into a much smaller set of gear that I have really embraced for the last few weeks. Haven't quite got to all my goals for this year, but still have a few weeks.
