TOASTY

Bit of travel this week, and got a late start. I had a couple 8 bar loops I made in the summer to accompany a splice flute/piano loop looking for a track so I made a home for them here. These were some of my first guitar licks, . I added the TR1000 as I love that machine. Some U-he synth patches, a little Virus, and a nice wash of guitar. Very fast arrangement as I was short on time and very quick mix, this is basically all resampled into the Digitakt and Octatrack, sequenced and arranged then brought back into the Daw for printing. I wish I had more time to dial in the mix from this workflow but that's a fix it as I go process for sure. Can't say I am in love with the final mix, rushed it in.

Thanks again for all your support, keeping at the guitar even through the weeks I am not totally happy with the progress.

There's something sort of mystical and magical to this, especially at the beginning, but then that bass rockets us into a cool groove.

those opening chords hooked me immediately.  love how it opens up into the guitar drum groove.  Driving with the windows down on a sunny day vibes.

here i am dancing to this one:

digging the guitar! i forget if you said, are you recording through an amp or running direct into interface?

Nice transitions and guitar tones

Some weeks seem like a struggle, this one was a bit easier to at least assemble, getting everything tied together is a mix never seems to go as easy as I would like.

My signal path is, dry to JHS Pulp and Peel, and Color Box, This then goes to the H-90 and out to separate R/L amp sims depending on the H-90 Patch. I don't have room for amps though amp really tempted no doubt.
