It has been quite turn of the wheel. We made it! I am so thankful for all who have stopped by this little corner of the internet and listened to my tracks. Its somewhat ironic that I started by unpacking my gear in a new space, that quickly grew into a disorganized mess, followed by a trip to the emergency room that kept me situated in a chair in the living room. I got to get really familiar with some old gear as well as some new pieces. I finally got things somewhat organized with a new Jasper's rack over this break, just in time for the last week, and am really looking forward to this year (perhaps actually release an EP).

I went back in the box for the last track after getting the studio re-organized. I brought out the Virus and the Sequential Pro-3 to do the heavy lifting on the sound design but did all the mixing and arranging in Ableton. One thing I do find is that after having spent the better part of the year using the Digitakt II as my "DAW" is that I use far less plugins in my mix and spend way more time adjusting levels and in sound design in general.

Thanks again for all your support, will be listening back over this year in 2025 (catching up on some listening for sure) and hope to see you all back in 2026, rested well enough to take another run, until then ...

Wishing you all the greatest of happiness and health.

Excellent energy in the drums.  That arp is super smooth and pleasing to hear bounce in and out of the kick/snare.  The jasper rack sounds(looks) like it's gonna be a handy creative space for all your gear.  Congrats on this year of music, wishing you a happy new year and hope to see ya in '26!

Man, that vocal performance, I love it. The bass is smooth, the arps are pleasant, and the lead is very nice.

Thanks for sharing your music this year.  You have a great grasp of groove and an ability to make really smooth sounds that just hit the spot.  I hope 2025 treats you well and hope to hear more from you in the future!

Just listened to this three times on repeat. Just too damn good. The energy in this is off the charts! I really like the vocals too, super good!

Wishing you an awesome 2025!!! And may we meet again here in 2026, hopefully sooner even! smile

wow, the low end is soooo deep. excellent work this week, and throughout the year!
may your health continue to improve and may you and yours have a peaceful 2025.
thank you so much for listening and sharing your thoughts throughout the year.
also thank you for introducing me to the beautiful concept of In Lak'ech.
let's keep going, my Friend heart

This song starts strong, full of energy. Suddenly it was over. Hope you will finish it and deliver the rest of it in 2026?
Until then, have a good and peaceful 2025.

Thank you for you stopping by, I hope you have had a great year. I do like the tones you can squeeze out of the Pro-3. I have had a blast collecting samples and futzing with sounds this year.

Thank you so much for checking it out. I am definitely going to work on the studio a bit. My new rack is in place but I need to fix up my power distribution and midi routing for the space to be more accessible but looking forward to it making loops and samples and patches for 2026.

I was listening to this and feel the same way, this was is asking for a second act, an extended cut. I may just take that up once I get more of the studio wired and find some mechanism to continue to release music. I am thinking of making and releasing an ep out of some of this material, fix some mixes , and revisit some of the hurried arrangements in the off year. I hope you have a great year it has been a pleasure sharing the sonic airwaves with you this run and hope to see you back in 2026.
