SIDE_QUEST

Coming out the other side from being so sick last week. This week I settled into a groovy sub bass line and some chords and the rest filled in.  I had a decent FM patch on my Humble Audio Quad Operator, but ditched it at the last minute as I couldn't get it to fit how I imagined it. Going to re-patch and try again for this week.

Thanks again for all your well wishes and I hope everyone is staying healthy and inspired.

Music seems to be one of the rare moments when I can try and forget all the chaos out the window, and not having a raging headache is such a blessing.

Phantasy star vibes

Bass sounds great on this, as does the whole track.  Music really is a refuge from the turmoil of the world and we're lucky to have it.

that bass feels gooooood
thank you for sharing this world with us

Love that punchy break that cuts through the sub bass. All the higher end stuff is great and fits right in. The crackles made me think you broke my speaker lol

Ha ha, I have had that same experience in mixing trying to find where the noise was only to find out it was some tape emulation somewhere on some patch needed some love.

Always a fan of tight drum n bass grooves.  The bass sounds extra nice nestled in between the kick/snare.  Hope you're feelin better!
