RUST

Stay the captain of your ship, could be rough seas ahead. Being led by the stars through the darkness we shall go, no fear my friends.

I had a totally different track almost finished, but a visit by my son who cooked up with me led to some good 'ol DnB.

Hope you enjoy

Thank you for your comments. The vocals are samples (not from my son). When he still lived at home we used to just pick a tempo and key and take turns building a beat, kinda like a madlibs for music. I have a lot of gear and it was always a fun way to be creative as we have very different styles but similar love for all types of music. It was good to do this again as it has been a minute. Glad you enjoyed the end result, it was a blast to make.

oh, that is so great! the joy comes through, i listened again a couple times today. and ya know what, i'm gonna hit play once more right now. cheers!

This is a really great sounding tune. The bass sounds excellent in the way it contextualizes the vocal samples. Really adds a lot of impact to the mood.

Really enjoy that up tempo vibe the hats and snare bring to the track.  Gets your head nodding along with the sweet groove.  Bass def kicks in nicely in the mix too.  Well done!

I do love 174BPM, I also love drum programing, thanks for the listen.

Awesome collaboration with your son. It seems such a daunting task to build even a "good" song around vocals this incredible, but you guys crushed it!

nice one! sweet collab with your son! smooth and intricate beats and sounds. your style shines through the tracks I heard so far, they all have that same magic touch, not sure what it is.
