RIPPED

This week I decided to make sure my Digitakt is running the latest firmware and program some drums and a bass line. Got some dusty drums dialed up (mostly you guested it by now EA-SKI), some dusty saturation and off we go. Wanted a heavy but spacial sound that hits you upfront in a distant way,but with focus (there are my usual perc dust). I ran all 8 tracks of drum programming, fx, etc in 2 patterns (16 tracks) and tracked these into Ableton using Overbridge. Finished in ableton.

Love the digitakt workflow as a hardware device.

Hope you enjoy

Mission accomplished. Love how that distant vibe carries over with the vocals at 1:37. Super cool sounds.

I agree, the music sounds big and present, but the vocals sound like they're coming from far away and it creates a cool effect.

Excellent, massive and full of passion.

Love the grittiness in this.  Just the right amount of organic textures envelop those deep subs. Nice work.

that drum processing is SO NICE
really enjoyed this in the headphones

Thanks, slightly on the saturated side, but I can't stop experimenting with textures.

I see that the Digitakt just got a refresh, I am a sucker for drum machines, but I am sure I will pick one up, such a great device.
