MAZE

Could have used another week on this one, got a lot of sound design elements that I am happy with, just needed a bit more time dialing in an arrangement and mix that I am happy with. I find when I switch out some modules it takes me a few days of fiddling to get to some results I like and that puts the end of week arrangement/mix/upload a tad rushed. I don't have the time to go back and redo some patches that don't exactly sit where I want them and that is a bit frustrating.

I Changed out the modular again https://modulargrid.com/e/racks/view/2626272. I really love the ms-22 style filter (almost everything was run through that at some point), but need a few more weeks to squeeze more out of this set of modules. Calling this week done, hope everyone had a great week.

This reminds me of my nicer night shifts on the intensive care units, when the patients were sleeping peacefully in artificial comas and the machines were blinking and peeping automatically all night through. A really special vibe in here.

Love the sound of that deep sub bass.  The drums have multiple styles to me, a bit of industrial meets worldly percussion.  I bet this would sound great in a suped up car with huge speakers smile Those hi-hats are extra appreciated.  Gave me some NIN vibes with that and the distorted bass flares.

Having worked in hospital settings, I concur with Q-Rosh that some of this brings to mind the beeping of medical machinery, but with a much nicer groove and rhythm to it.

This feels like something I might hear in a Lumines game, nice!!! The reverb-y arps that are sprinkled a couple of places (like at around 0:50) add a super cool feel.
Nice job!

i find this very comforting, mzunguko
thank you

some sounds making me think of selected ambient works.

Thank you all so much for stopping by, I have been remiss in following up, but know that I truly appreciate the time you have all spent listening to these weekly musings.
