Got out the PEAK this week. It's been about a year since I set it up. It really is a great synth, got lost in a few patches, created some new ones and brought back a few old ones made throughout the years.

I did get caught up in sound design, so much that I had to rush an arrangement and actually make something. Digitakt was on drums and sample chopping, and resampling the PEAK. The PEAK is the star, it has such a great range with a simple(ish) interface.

Overall, I am pretty happy with how this weeks track came together even the mix and arrangement have their moments given the time spent.

As always, I am so appreciative of your time here.

Oooh love the look of the PEAK.  It would look so nice next to my Bass Station2 smile   Excellent laid back feels throughout this.  The drums punch thru those shimmery pads so nicely. The filtered vocals contrast nicely with that thick bass groove too. Nice work! Hope you had a better week! smile

It's always fun when you get so absorbed in sound design that you lose track of time.  I think it paid off here, this sounds really warm and inviting.  The vocals sound great, too.

lovely flow to this one, floating down the mzunguko river  heart

PEAK is great, every time I get the itch to buy an analog poly I go back to the peak and realize I really don't need one I just like all the thought of one.

I really do love sound design, the struggle I have is getting lost in the design without a purpose and then trying to find a purpose for the sounds within a weekly time box. A challenge all the same.
