When all things are laid bare, that is where truth resides. Was very difficult to find inspiration this week watching the dumpster fire outside my window. This is only an interlude to a much larger piece I will revisit in the future.
Still working on my live rig, this was sequenced using a combination of digitakt (drums), squarp pyramid (midi synths), 1010 blackbox (sampled audio from midi synths, and modular). Synths were PEAK, Typhon, NI kontakt, massive X, TipTop 281t buchla clone.
Digitakt was tracked into Studio one, arranged with black box samples, converted to mp3.
I work this way so I can perform this live without additional work and remix the arrangement.
Still haven't decided on best way for live recording this setup, may pick up a zoom recorder but need an end of chain compressor.
