AIRBORN

By mzunguko on October 27, 2024 11:19 pm

Riding the clouds this week with some good'ol DNB, its a crazy world out there. Last week with this setup. I am going to be switching out both the modular and the Virus for some new textures. Its been a blast the past couple of weeks. I have gotten really comfortable with the Digitakt 2. I am going to spend the off year dialing in a mix I like, I don't feel like I have this where I like and never have enough time to really get this where I want it. I also haven't been taking good patch notes so once I have a sequence and sound its resampled into the Digitack and the patch is lost. I hope this mix translates cause the sub is carrying a ton of energy. I only checked it on my main mix set before bring it into Ableton for a quick leveling and print.

Access Virus and the Instruo Saich as the synth voices, Qu-bit Nautilus on delay duties. Drum one-shots by Zenhiser, spread out over 16 tracks and 28 unique patterns.

Hope you enjoy.

Super uplifting track and the 5 minute mark brought it home so well.  Very nice work

Love the bass flow.

Love the pace the drums immediately get going.  Such a warm and slick bassline.  Such an infectious groove it's impossible not to tap along smile  The gritty bass around 3mins sounds extra nice too.  Almost sounds like an old hard drive.  Well done!

Good vibrations. Thank you

This is catchy and uplifting.  I was bobbing my head along with it subconsciously almost from the start.

Really nice mood. Love the gentle vocals over the uplifting beat. Nice use of the different drums under the verse/chorus (need to listen again later but for now that's what I'm gonna call it) noticed the transition and how it made me pay attention all of a sudden when the drums changed

AIRBORN is right, i'm flying over here

also this is a silly thing, but i'm really bad at knowing what actual words people are singing and for a sec i thought they were saying "I really love focaccia" @ 1:29   big_smile

*for the record, i really love focaccia!

great tune.

cool bass sound design and I could listen to this with the windows down on a warm summer day! Upbeat, fun and groovin'

I love the virus, I immediately notice the difference this week with the PEAK.

Thanks, twisting dials and punching buttons. I like the flexibility of the Digitakt.

Who doesn’t like focaccia? If you never had it a side quest has been introduced where achievement is had when you nod and smile.

I really like the immediacy of the Virus for synth bass.
