Time flies and we're already on Week 2 smile For this submission I wanted to get a bit out of my comfort zone and record some silly vocals, so I opened up Voice Memo, recorded a little snippet on my phone, and the rest is history!

Instances:
-Genome Kit & Sad Drama Kit (stock Ableton kits; tweaked ever so slightly...)
-Serum 2 (bass and layered leads; mix of sequenced and live-recorded parts)
-Fors Chiral (string-sounding parts - recorded live with a good bit of MPE modulation)
-Ableton Simpler (for mangling/chopping the vocal sample)

Notes: Submission was arranged and recorded using Push 3 with a good bit of tweaking in post within Ableton Suite.

p.s. - there is a good bit of ping-ponging in the stereo field on this one, so headphones are recommended!

This is so ominous. Way to create a mood.

You are now breathing manually.
- Devieus

You weren't kidding about that ping-ponging!

Love the vibe this track gives off, the drifting synth and the deep kick+drums are so good!

Nothing better for your mental health and calmness than an extremely ominous heart pumping meditation session

Love the discord and then resolving, and then splitting again. Foundational beat and rhythm is deep an solid.

Vocal is amazingly good over the soundscape.

End is awesome smile

I was already really enjoying the dissonance and discordance here, and then you threw in those vocals and DAMN... Just made everything just 100% more eerie. Super DUPER cool. Great job!

Not sure if I should relax or gtfo! smile Great sound design on this track!

such a sinister sounding groove with the opening beat.  The synths are indeed breathing in and out with the flow.  Awesome exploration with your voice memo.  What a ride!

Whoaaaa this is cool and creepy. Ping pong is pinging and ponging.  I’ve work

Peaceful...yet terrifying. The sliding and shifting synths were disorienting in the best way.

What a trip, especially love the grimey opening beat, so dark and ominous.

Nice and mysterious, a dark journey. Oh, the voices, yes. Love how this changes up with the new synth sounds and picks up. Great sounds, I love the Fors instruments.

Niiiice!!
