See Me Stride (Now Now)

Enjoyed this one. Picked up the bass, made a simple bass line and went from there.  Maybe 3 sessions (?).

What went well:
- Really enjoyed starting with the bass. Think this was a good way to get some kind of vocal melody too.
- Started just by playing the bass, and not opening a project on computer. Reduced friction to get started. Once I had the bassline, I was motivated to start recording.
- Strumming that bass til my wrist hurt (again)
- Didn't fixate on lyrics, just worked with the melody and liked that.
- Enjoyed getting a guitar slide in there

Ideas for future:
- Start with bass again! Need to get one in Berlin
- Still inconsistent in showing up. Ideally would like to be picking up the guitars every week.
- Careful moving stuff around. Think I made stuff out of time with each other when sliding tracks around.

Additional Notes:
Another week, another tune. Yes. Feeling more relaxed around WB and easing into the flow with less feelings of pressure. Still, very glad to be doing it.
Put an ad up for drummers on a board for a rehearsal space with a link to my weekly beats and got a response  from a drummer keen to gig. Who knows if this will work but still its ace. Will email him back soon and maybe set up a jam/practice. Nice!

Even though you've very clearly tagged this as punk it still took me by surprise when it got to the fast break - well done!

I guess this is what happens when you lean on muddy vocals.
