Had a simple idea last week, chords and melody for a track and recorded a simple barebones version. Took it to my old bandmate Andy to finish in the week. We played in a few groups together as teenagers. We got it fired up in logic, and hammering it out, I think 3 sessions, over two weeks.

WWW:
- Great to work on this with Andy. Brought in a lot of ideas, including the breaks at the end of the chorus. Also the outrageous solo. He's here on bass, a rhythm guitar, lead guitar, and backing vox. Also helped with a couple lines. He'd be happy to hear feedback on the mix.
Also kinda good to have two studio fluent people working on this. We took turns, one of us at the desk whilst the other 'in the booth'.

- My lyrics scrapbook really came through on this one. I was so stuck for lyrics after I had the melody, then opened my book where I've been collecting words and phrases I like. I picked up 'smash to smithereens' and ran with it, using words that rhymed.
- enjoyed recording the vocals - very fun! and cathartic!

IFF:
- Keep it in garageband project so I can work on it in my own time.
- Pump out a few more like this to put a set together and work towards playing a show...
