FTRSLF-1

By mw1618 on March 3, 2024 5:05 pm

Starting a new project with the working title of "Future Self." Intent is to create a 60 min mix of tracks that all flow together but have different vibes to each of them.

FTRSLF-1 has 2.5 distinct parts to it and will flow into FTRSLF-B next week.

Using more of my own sounds for this project with heavy usage of the Minifreak, acoustic guitar, and effects pedals. Samples from Splice will also show up to give the mix the percussive elements and vocals.

A slow build through a funky astral tunnel to a tribal moment with a very comfy ending. Really liking the .5 part and curious to see where it goes.

I got plans! Stay tuned for the next section. Glad you liked 1 and 2.

There is so much low end in the intro, nice.

This is quite the journey with the samples+guitars later on the track.

cool long build, love how it really clears up into this dance beat. Love the vocal samples as well.

quality production in the mix and choice of sounds!

Thanks. After a few listens I feel like the intro is way too long but on the studio speakers the low end sounded too good to phase out top quickly.

Thanks! I love finding great sounds and then trying to weave them together and have become more at peace with the fact that I won't always be making 100% of the sounds myself.
