Rifts of Ganymede

Hardware: Messing around with a new rougher black skin for the Erae 2.
Software: Picked up Pigments over the holidays and have no idea what I'm doing.
Song: Started with the vocal string pulse section and build around that. Kind of had a space-like exploration feel. On a stark planet in the shadows of a giant rift. Maybe an ancient temple is there. And of course the beat has to drop it: some kind of late 90s hoverboards escape scene. Totally radical.

Feedback welcome! I'm still a novice.

such awesome storytelling with the tracks! love the brooding nature at the beginning, really fitting for the title. and then the synthy beat of the latter half brings you into a more retro vibe for sure. here's the cinematic storyboard that comes to mind when listening for me:

1st half pre-beat:

following the butterfly to pan to this vista
2nd half with the beat:

ending on a transport from the temple perhaps:

I feel you on this so much. I bounced off my plan to use Pigments this week after owning it for a few years. I'm glad you found success because this sounds great. Great feel, and you accomplished the theme you were going for so well.

Love the sounds on this track! WB is of course great for getting to know newly acquired tools a bit better smile.

Wow, really love these visuals. Very fitting too!

Man, that intro gave me Metroid vibes in the best of ways. Definitely nailed the space exploration vibe!

Love a choir sample.
You created a vibe with it.
That intro is great.
