ETOSO

By mukti on March 10, 2024 3:59 am

Started early this week with a deep, muffled beat. Adding some additional synths and sounds over top. After reading a lot of PKD recently and re-watching Blade Runner for the ???th time, I kind of went for a cyberpunk/noir vibe with this track. Its more... of an ambient and atmospheric soundscape than than tracks that I made previous weeks? I'm terrible with genres! I think its pretty good, but since I've never made a track like this, I wasn't sure where to take it.

I've said it for every previous track, and I'll continue saying it for every new track -- feedback is appreciated!

Since this felt like more of an ambient track than something following my typical song style, I called it ETOSO - an Esperanto word that means ambiance and atmosphere.

The image this week is a short clip of a train on the Chūō-Sōbu line passing over Akihabara at night.

Very dark and mysterious, like it's too quiet here. The beat feels like a heartbeat.

Super awesome
