Week 2, still figuring stuff out. I feel like I struggle with arranging and mixing - feedback welcome!

I messed with instruments a bit more this week, and used some from packs I accumulated since getting my M8.

Love the glassy lead, and the bass really starts to rumble its way alive just after the 2 minute mark. Struggle feedback - your sounds are great, work well together, and the M8 gives you tons of tools and space to push them farther and really develop the timbre and tone as a rhythmic phrasing/compilation element. Tweak and play! Sounds great!

Sounds are solid.  Some more melodic experiments will mix it up for sure and perfecting the mix takes a lot of experience.  I'd say it's mostly levels on this as mentioned, the sounds work well!

It all works quite well together, however, the lead as it is leaves a lot of space you can try to fill with another melody, or perhaps lower the tempo so the space has some room.

Popped in here after you asked for feedback on the discord.  The initial patterns and instrument sounds are good (I particularly like the bass).  I think the track would benefit from variety like at 2:11 sooner.  The lead sounds loud on its own, but might sit in well alongside additional accompaniment or higher-frequency percussion.

I really like this bass sound - did you make it in m8? It has a nice grinding quality to it. Since you asked for feedback, one thing I like to do on m8 is double tracks and eq (bandpass and bandstop are great for this) the copy (make sure to clone the instrument as well) to bring out some more of whatever frequency range I want to pull more out of for a particular sound.

Yep! It's actually just the buzz macrosynth and a saw swarm macrosynth with some modifications.

Thanks everyone for the feedback!
