Love those wavy pads and that sweet pulsating arp that comes in.  Excellent build up between the bass and synth stabs.  Can def hear this bringing good vibes at the party in the desert.  Really nice variation between the different leads too.  I wish I could perform live.  I used to wayyyy back in college when I was in a band.  But it was always a blast when I got opportunity smile Def add this to the setlist \m/ and I hope you have a fun time!

I love this! great pads, great structure and super groovy smile Cool to hear you are going to perform your tracks! I think is something necessary and super fun to do, sharing your music in real life is very fullfilling, I was doing lots of djing back in the days and also using midi controllers to launch clips in ableton and modulate filters and such, now I'm trying a similar approach using ableton move and the m8 there are a lot of possibilities and when everything works is super fun! Enjoy!! heart

Definitely sounds like a great vibe for a party in the desert! Lots of great synths here, especially digging that muted pluck lead sound.

Thanks as always for the listen and the comment! I tried to intentionally push sounds a bit further as the song developed. Performing in a band sounds like a great time. Although I've never done it myself, playing live with people is one of my biggest draws to learning music.

heart Thank you! Really appreciate the listen and you sharing about your performances smile. M8 + ableton move seems like a pretty fun combo. One of the things I was trying to figure out when putting together my set was "what are some things I can do so I'm not just hitting play and bouncing around." Mostly I settled on futzing with some filter cutoffs on my synths but there was brief period where I cut a row or phrases and had to re-sync everything live. I definitely have some things I want to try for next time

Update on the live set: I did it and it was a lot of fun smile. I played like an hour of all weeklybeats submissions from this year for an audience of 80 ppl chilling by the pool in the afternoon. Some of them were friends and others were ppl I had just met that weekend. In the end, I only used the m8 on its own and queued up tracks live. For a couple of the tracks, I restructured the endings/beginnings to have a looping section at the end to make transitions a bit easier. It was a lot of fun and surprisingly less difficult than I thought it would be. But also it wouldn't have happened without me making tracks on here smile. Appreciate all of y'all listening to my stuff and inspiring me with all your incredible work this year heart
