Take It Down

I wasn't happy with this one but kept poking at it. It's better now, but still weird. I wanted to have a strange rhythm that keeps you off balance a little but not sure if I did it right. Still some notes clashing but I'm running out of time to troubleshoot.

Yeah, I think you nailed that, this is wobbly and weird and I really like it! Also, how did I miss your other submissions?!? I'm going back to listen to them ASAP! Awesome to "see" you here smile

*waves* Hi!!
Thanks for all the nice comments! I should start a movement: "Wobblecore" 😆

The lead at 0:47 is some John Carpenter goodness. Which city is Snake Plissken escaping from now?

I may or may not have fansqueed at the comparison, thank you!

Love the synth tones in this. The off-kilter rhythm absolutely works but doesn’t feel forced…it’s still a bop in spite of (because of?) the complex beat. Also, most appropriate sample ever (“Get it on the beat!”).

I honestly tried timing the sample better, but I couldn't keep up with myself!
