Bumblebee Bounce

By MRDRCAT on June 7, 2026 11:47 pm

Another last minute track! I started this one this afternoon when grabbing lunch in the middle of a day's worth of around-the-yard chores. I just had 1 measure of percussion and 4 of the lead. After dinner I came back to finish it as much as possible, but it's a rush job.

For this one I wanted to limit myself and see what happened. Limitations would help me concentrate on Getting Things Done, but I still wanted to push myself to get creative. My rules were:

Only 4 tracks (I broke that; there are 5 in use sad )
Exclusively Wavsynth; specifically, non-wavetable oscillators (square, saw, triangle, noise)
All patches created from scratch
All percussion in a single track

Literally 1.5 hours and I had to pull the plug, but this turned out WAY better than it should have. Maybe I should panic-create more often. If you want the project, grab it!

This does sound like a bouncing bumblebee if I ever dang heard one.

Too cute to be allowed to exist!
Would work well with miaw sounds.

Gives me a bit of Hamsterball vibe (cool old game, it had cute soundtrack). This would fit well there.

No worries on broken rule, this track still slaps! big_smile

Lovely & whimsical vibe here, great changes.
