Any Inconvenience

By MRDRCAT on May 19, 2024 10:28 pm

These are stating to sound a little samey...or am I "finding my style"? Ha ha no, I panicked and just did more of what I'm comfortable doing. But louder this time, thanks to Avrilcadabra's FM guitar patch. I did try to get a more realistic play style using that patch, but since I'm not a guitar player I just don't have an ear for it.
I do like how the boopy-arpy synth contrasts with the other muddy sounds, and I like to think I'm getting the hang of the more realistic drums.

My seat was in the correct position while listening.

Love the hihat work on this and the fat FM guitar patch. Drums sound great

You have no idea how enormous the smile on my face is right now... This is AWESOME!!! When stuff starts to get REALLY intense around 1:30 I really started rocking out hard. THIS SLAPS HARD. I love the fat and dirty guitar sound next to the ScotRail announcements and the chiptuny elements. This is just lovely!

the "guitars" sound loud indeed! really good use of that patch. Nice combo of chiptunish sounds with the heavier sounds, lots going on. Love how the intensity ramps up at the end - really feels like a journey.

Kept my arms inside the whole ride too!

Excellent. I don't want my tracks to cause any injuries.

Aw thanks! There's something about "real" sounding drums that makes me use them differently. That FM guitar is an Avrilcadabra creation and sounds nice & gnarly!

Yay thank you! I had a lot of fun with this one, and I really enjoy making loud noisey stuff. Just never sure if I'm overdoing it.

heart The journey element is what a lot of my stuff is missing so I'm super stoked you said that! Thanks!

Thank you for listening responsibly!

Oh damn, that patch that comes in around :30? HUGE. Love how you worked it in with that arpeggiated line. And it just keeps building! The smile was huge at 1:50.

This was a RIDE. Can I go again?
