Billy The Kid

By MrAtlantis69 on May 21, 2026 6:08 pm

Started this last sunday at the in-laws. The riff came from just noodling around. I can hear loads of things when I play it like a fast "I left my Heart in San Francisco" or my fiance said it sounds like a major key inspector gadget. It's a trail/saloon song about a man who repeats the same warnings to plenty of bounty hunters that go after Billy the Kid and end up with the same result. The song clips like mad and I've tried everything in my power to get rid of it but to no avail. The song is mad long too so when I finished a take I liked I couldn't be bothered to record again and so I've tried to automate to remove some of the clipping. Enjoy!

Super fun and catchy! The twangy piano is such a cool instrument and breakdown at 7:45 really shows off what is possible. Great playing!

Thanks so much man!
