This Swamp Will Leave You Stumped

By Monstrosus on May 8, 2022 11:52 pm

This track started with a text to speech creation.  I was hoping to warp the audio and make it more of a rap rhythm. This became way more complicated as I dug into it.  Time constraints always seem to hamper these more ambitious experiments.  The speech engine's southern accent voice option inspired the swamp theme.  I made this in Logic.

The text to speech here is awesome! What did you use for this one? It’s like a swampy smoky Tom Waits Real Gone era track. The brass stabs! And the swamp ambiance at the end is a nice touch.

Just using a text to speech reader app on iOS.  I checked out fakeyou.com that AI speech stuff is crazy!

I used a iOS app VoiceDream, it’s a text to speech reader, it has the default iOS voices, or you can purchase additional voices of higher quality.

Tasty swampy SaxxX
Voice sounds awesome. AI knows all. This is great. I'm stumped. But I'm ready for cool drink on the patio of a swampy spot with dancing creatures.

I just listened to NWSPR's awesome sax fueled track and thought of your track, to saxxy peas in a pod: https://weeklybeats.com/nwspr/music/they-call-me-winner
