Miracle Glow

I’m trying to get better about consistently uploading every week.  This week was especially busy for me, so I decided to lower my expectations.  With an hour til upload, I thought I could just pick an interesting solo instrument and improvise for a few minutes, then upload whatever I came up with.  I chose a charango — an Andean guitar-like instrument sampled by Spitfire Audio, my first take seemed good enough, I just had to fix a few flubbed notes in the piano roll.  I felt like it wasn’t totally working as a solo performance, so I had Tyrell( Logic Pro’s pop brush drummer) follow my improvisation.   I threw down a track of Logic’s African choir instrument and added some delay to the charango.

Unfortunately, the track gets pretty redundant a minute in.  If I had more time, I would have liked to create more developments/structure/parts.   Overall, I’m glad I met the weekly goal, and had fun experimenting.

A pretty holy song all things told

Love the sound of this! Guitar improv is great, it's fun to hear improvised stuff, I think it stays interesting, keeps you wondering. Brush drums and choir sounds are nice. Amazing that the following feature works so well! Would be fun to jam with this instrument next time we get together!

Oh this is delightful! The percussive sounds you choose for all your tracks are always stylishly perfect smile
And all the vox plus lute-like instrument dancing in such beautiful counterpoint takes the cake! heart
