Modulated Drummer is all about Live Drums, Effect Pedals and Synths. My mission is to feature drum effects on live drums in an actual song or piece of improvised music.
I aim to experiment, inspire and innovate.
I plan to post weekly videos on YouTube and feature amazing drummer guests. If you love drums, effects and synths, or the content I create, please become a Patreon supporter TODAY.

Very interesting, gives me ideas to work on different workflows, to try to write loops and improvise. What kind of recording setup do you have? I don't have inserts on my recording interface (don't have a mixer, just the interface) I think I could route my out to fx and to another in but it is getting complicated for my brain...) Good job.
That's tight. I'd love to hear what you come up with if you go down the downward loop spiral
What's your current workflow? I'm using an old MOTU for capturing audio to the comp. From there I go straight to GarageBand. I used a SM7B through a CloudLifter for vocals.
Here's a video I made about how I set all the drum stuff up if you're curious.
What kind of outputs do you have on your interface? I've never tried routing outputs from an interface, but that'd be fun and should totally work.
I love how cool you made the vocals sound though you recorded them like 5 minutes before the track was due or something like that. And this pedal is so weird and great. Wowzers

Thanks butthead.
That panning is fuuuuucking awesome. Great beat carrying the song as well. Always good stuff man.
I like your whole mission statement of experimenting with drums. Cool effects throughout actually. I definitely dig all the weirdness going on with the vocals.
damn that video is badass. the possibilities are endless with this setup. i could get lost in a live viewing of this for a longgggg time.

Yo Jokinen. Happy week 18 and thanks. I went as ham as possible with three different tremolo rates. It kinda turned out Mars Volta Bug Esque.

Thanks Cairns. How is your weekly beats adventure going? Looking forward to hearing more of your tracks.

Thanks Demonzor. This one was super fun. It took a hot minute to not be overwhelmed by how weird this pedal is on drums... but once I got used to it... it was hella fun! I'm still pretty new to this whole video thing, but yeah I really wanted to put together a setup that lent itself to just going in and making music. I'm also really hoping that by the end of this weekly beats thing, I'll be practiced enough to be able to try to do this kind of thing live... we'll see.
Crazy stuff! LOVE it! Glad to find you
