(The 2nd) Night Ride (Of The) Glow Machines

Okay, i'm back to doing what i do best, composing awesome music, and for good reason too. I'm starting my advanced diploma in sound engineering and I have to write, compose, mix, master an EP as per my portfolio, but instead of an EP, I will compose a soundtrack for a fictional arcade/platform video game called Night Ride Of The Glow Machines. If i was to compared it to something, it would be something like a futuristic Metal Slug. Metal Slug is one of my favorites game series of all time, not just because its ridiculously fun, but the soundtrack written by Takushi Hiyamuta (HIYA!) gives me goosebumps and is a massive influence, even if i havent reached to his level of composition just yet.

Anyway, the plan is to compose the song on Reason, and for my Ad Dip assignment, replace all the brass and anything else with Kontakt at TAFE and spend more time fixing it up. So its not technically a "work-in-progress" since its the fully fledged song ive already written. Any criticism is welcomed, i would like to do my best here. So expect more of this theme in the upcoming weeks. I think this one is much better and focused than the first N.R.O.T.G.M, Thats all.

this is pretty cool!

if you made it a wanky time signature, the start would be like a prog-rock/fusion intro. this is pretty sweet man. the bit at 1:04 and the build-up before hand is awesome. 3:21 is awesome too.

Fun and funky bouncy bass sound and great fanfare brass.  Got a good groove and a bit unpredictable.  Nice and jazzy too smile
