Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Didn't have much time this weekend, so I made a short gritty techno ditty. This was written entirely on the M8, using no samples (just the synth engines and onboard effects), and mastered in Ableton. It was especially fun to use the filtered noise engine for the kick and some of the other FX. I still think that I'm only using 10% of the features on the M8...

I always feel like I'm barely scratching the surface of what most of my equipment can do, but I suppose it doesn't matter if you get good results with the part you do use and this is a great result. Big sound and big energy.
Fun sounds! I like this changing between the main melody synth and this pluck instrument. Good work 
Epic cyber anthem. Enjoy all the change ups with the beats. The last sound at the end is really cool like a submarine pinging.

Thanks! The “choir” is the Buzz generator in Braids, with high timbre, low color and a ton of reverb.
I haven't made anything this complex on the m8 yet! If you're not using 10% I'm not using 5!
