lol trackers

Phil Harmonic and I decided to do an old school tracker challenge, lol! This was fun but I think I'll stick to Ableton (at least until the M8 arrives).

nice arp chords smile i get kindof a bladerunner vibe with this track

I really like what you did with the lead, it's real nice.

It's energetic and has an insistent drive to it, yet I found it kind of hypnotic and soothing, too.

Sweet arp and chiptune lines!

This is lots of fun. Like CosmicCairns mentioned, there's a great drive and energy to this.

Fun! I agree with it has great energy and I like this flute sound with a mysterious melody.

So groovy! Any tracker recommendations?

This was my first time tracking, so take these recommendations with a grain of salt. Out of the trackers I tried, I enjoyed OpenMPT (for old school stuff) and Klystrack (for fakebit) the most. For a modern tracker that loads VSTs, check out Renoise.

The beat is such a pleasure. The arp gives the track a good drive. And the nitendo sounds do a great job.

I'm enjoying the old school tracker songs this week. Cool track, love that rhythmic chirpy thing

I really liked the "flute" melody. smile . Fun stuff to listen to.

I really like the melody sound you got going for the main synth that enters rather late into your track. The melody is also smoothly sailing through, very well done for your first ever tracker song!
