Last minute upload ... and the dog is making me walk him now.

ok, back from the walk in the gray fading light. There are a lot of holiday lights in my neighborhood, which brings sparkly good feelings.

A good walk is always nice, but after staring at a screen editing for a couple hours, it's especially rejuvenating.

One of those weeks where I didn't have a good plan, and didn't work on the song enough. Distracted with wrapping up work for the year, holiday things and lots of sleeping.
I had a kind of Kraftwerk fixation this week. Did a jam kind of in that vain, but then somehow changed directions. Kept just a few little tidbits from that original jam.
Since this is second to last song, I checked off a couple boxes: use some samples I've been meaning to use ... revisit some sounds from my week 41 song, which never felt finished.
With those sounds, I managed to put something together. Played some drums which is always fun.
Can't believe almost to the end! Happy week 51 to you all. See you in the comments.

Very good hiphop in the beginning, then surprisingly changing into a jazzy house beat with the French lady talking. The epiano is beautiful. There should have been a little saxsolo of the miraclejunior, too. Good job.

The beginning kind of sounded like sparkly holiday lights to me and then I think I got transported to some sort of sophisticated European club/cafe.  I agree with Q-Rosh.  A little bit of sax would have fit in really nicely, although it's miraculous you've gotten the teenage son to contribute as much as he has this year.  It still captures a fantastically cool vibe as is.

Very tastefully put together. I love the jazzy phrases juxtaposed with the modern house beats. Dreamy vocals, too. My only nitpick would be that the ending is a little abrupt. But it's a detail. I enjoyed it as is.
