This one made me feel good. Took some sounds from my first song I ever made (Afro Dolce week 1, weekly beats 2016!) because I was doing some remixing on that. Slowed it down, added some new parts, played some djembe, did some vocal sounds, and voila, some feels. This is the only time we have, lets make it good!

Definitely a positive get up and dance feel to this one.  Very joyous sounding.  Kind of has a sci-fi tribal sound to it, which is really sweet.

Man, awesome full sound. The percussion, I think the djembe really brings the music to life with so much movement and motion. Nice bass groove underlying everything. Everything sits back in the beat so perfectly, makes you want to dance!

"This is the only time we have, lets make it good!" - amen!
good vibes. reminds me of old Plaid a little bit.

it makes me feel good, too.
a lovely and happy piece of music.

I agree with the others.
Cool rhythmic feel.

YO this is so sick when the beat drops.

You are so creative and I don't even get how your brain works to hear these combinations.  I'm a huge fan and you are really inspiring.

who even says stuff like that??? smile

Really cool mix of instruments, I wish I could field half of the variety this tune has. Great piece heart

Awesome! Some good happy vibes! “Your future is whatever you make it. So make it a good one”. Doc Brown 1989

Oh man, I love that song. The guitar riffs were amazing.

This isn't as much a lovely mishmash of happy feels, it feels more like a single whole now.

Thanks! Glad you liked, really cool you got the get up and dance vibe and its slower ... I think some dancing can happen at all tempos. I like that sci-fi tribal description.

Many thanks! Glad you liked, and that mix came through nice and full. I've been enjoying adding djembe lately because its fun to bang on a drum, always good if it helps the song of course.

Amen indeed, gotta do that! Thanks much, I listened to a little Plaid back in the day, I'll have to go play more, cool reference.

Hahaha! Wow, this comment makes me so happy! Honored you are a fan! I'm finally starting to figure out how my music brain works too (well maybe I don't really want to actually), but gotta try to keep pulling more out of it!

Oh wow, that is really awesome to hear, thanks so much! I'm always really flattered and impressed that you remember and reference some people's old songs. Appreciate hearing this sounds more like single whole. When I went to remix the old one it just didn't feel right, glad I kind of started over here. I may still try and get the other upbeat one to work though.

Oh damn that djembe beat is awesome.  Stupid question was this played as a sampled instrument or do you have one to bang to your heart's content?  Reason I ask is cuz I downloaded one recently and even though it sounded nice it was super hard to get that real feeling of sitting with one between your legs (phrasing?).  When the synths came in I got some old school Plaid vibes for sure.  The vocals add a nice touch too.  Excellent track!

Thanks appreciate it! Yep real djembe, banging away between the legs - lots of fun to do that. My main instrument is drums and percussion, so I like to play the real ones when I can.

Lol, this is great thanks. That's my secret to good beats, have a possum (opossum?) in the mix too.
