Je Taime, Toast Taco

By miraclemiles on December 11, 2022 10:34 pm

A story.
A  piece of toast (crisped just right, lightly shmeared, thank-you-very-much) likes to boast toasts over beats. They have love in their glutenous soul. Much love. Sometimes expressed in French (still learning online).
For many moments, they didn't know where to direct their love. Then they met Taco. Their love had new meaning.

This song was created from the sounds of a Dec 17 2021 jam with License that I dug up from the depths of the hard drive. Did the edit technique of just chopping down for length, from 33 minutes to 4. Keeping bits from all the moments.

Listening to what I said during that jam, I think that story above must have been the one that wanted to be told here, almost  year later.

I love how playfully wild and spacey this gets, but then it holds together so tightly over these beats at the same time heart

I dig the wacky stories behind some of these tracks that make perfect sense once you hear the music.  It's certainly a skill to be able to pare 33 minutes down to 4 and keep the essence of the jam in the process.

I like the dubby element in here. it glues everything together. the mix became nicely psychedelic. well done.

I apologize for the floury language, but we all knead more loaf in our lives. I like how you baked this for 33 minutes and then sliced it up, it goes well with the jam.   On a side note, 2 pieces of toast got together and made a baby, unfortunately was in-bread.

Hey thanks! Holding down the wildness into something  tame enough to listen to is always a goal I strive for.

Lol, thanks, glad you dig the story. I figure if I'm carrying on about tacos and other food stuff, I might as well find the story in there! Cutting jams down to something of normal song length has been a great skill to practice here on WB!

Thanks very much! I always like a dubby element in some tracks, one of my favorite vibes. As we started jamming on this I think it did get more psych, I did some panning and extra delays and reverbs to bring that out in the second half of this. Glad you grooved with that.

Huuuuuge bass there. It's making my desk shake! smile What a weird alien track about the very important topic of toast taco. The percussions and strange vocals weave a very strange atmosphere. This is quite a trip! smile
