Found the Secret

No, I haven't really found the secret (or all of them at least), but hey, it's nice to look for them. Maybe its hidden in this track. Process this week was kind of trees vs. forest thing here, started playing around on Monday without much direction or vision in mind, tinkered throughout the week, and here's the Beat for the Weekly. Stumbled on the violin sample on the conversesamplelibrary.com, chopped it up and around a bit, and was glad to have found it. Then around Thursday of course had some grand ideas to take in new and exciting directions, but those will be ideas for future version. Nice to have the deadline to force finishing something rather than tinkering for too long and not finishing. Now if only I can remember what my ideas to change this were ... oh well, on to the next week!

I like how there always seem to be a lot of layers at work in your pieces.  The violin sample really fits in nicely.

Thanks so much - wasn't even thinking about making something darker, its so cool when something kind of happens on its own and a mood evolves.

Thanks, agree about the kick! The kick got lost in some parts of this, trying to get better and clearing up some room for it in the mix!
