Drifting Consequences

Went further down the rabbit hole ... I mean the river, and strange things happened. Appears to be some sort scanning from the sky. Strange lights. Then things looked pretty strange for a while. Hearing lots of rhythms and some sort of otherworldly howls. It's ok. Made it through. Maybe it was those mushrooms from the shore. Or maybe it was just the river being playful.

Going to catch up on listening this week. Listening more important than those extra work meetings I don't really need to go to.

I really dig those low tones of distorted tongue drum. Sounds great against the drums and the synths.

Fantastic trippy video and percussion. It worked very well together.

The track is relatively minimalist by your standards, but there's still plenty of wonderful weirdness to dig into.  Dug the trippy effects on the video.  They mesh well with the music.

pretty good flow, I like when the beat came in and where it took us on a trip

Thanks! Definitely sounds I like to explore, maybe a thread to tie some of my random tracks together.

Yeah good point, having less time to work on a track forces more minimalism, I'll have to remember that.

Thanks for checking it out! Yeah I like when the beat comes in too, the trip definitely gets going then!

Beautiful scenery, nice video effect at 1:37, always have great percussion, like the washed out feel from some of the effects.  Where did you go kayaking?  Hope to get out this summer and do a bit more kayaking with the family.

Thank you! This was on the Spokane river, close to where I live. Some good spots there, and lakes in the region, I've been enjoying getting out these past few summers. Peaceful times. Looking forward to heading out again in a couple months.

so many lovely textures here!

Such a cool hypnotic feel to the start of this.  When the drums kick in even more so.  Combined with the tongue drum and distortion textures you get some far out sounds.  Groovy track!

Oh nice, it feels like one is lost in the mist in the middle of the wilderness. There are shapes appearing here and there in the mist, and giving hints of fantastic animals around 1:50. I always love the tribal rhythms of your tracks, paired with wild howls of alien beasts. That synth around 2:20 is really cool, still very untamed. Beautiful peaceful ending.

thanks for taking us on this journey with you heart

Really love the drifting, phasing layers on this, really creates a dynamic, crisp space that's wonderfully musical as well. Reverb for the win too!

Love this heart Builds really nicely and the percussion sounds and layering are so good. Nice work smile
