Dandelion Preservation Society

By miraclemiles on July 22, 2022 5:31 am

An edit of a recent jam with collaborator Monstrosus, who has some songs on WB this year and they are good. He played guitar and I did some percussion and bass sounds. Then an old friend sent me some freestyle rap voice messages that made me smile, so I put those in here. I think the minute or two of freestyle said more than a long conversation could have. We're lucky to have rap as a communication medium in the world smile Loved the line about not killing the dandelions. I say let them live. They are good. No poison needed. I think I like this title as a band name. Early upload this week, that's a first. Going to go sleep outside for a couple nights this weekend. I think it's past dandelion season, but I look forward to seeing other living things. And stars.

like the guitar in here and the slow tempo you have chosen. nice raps integrated, too. well done.

Cool sounds and the rap does fit in really well.  I'm down with preserving the dandelions.

I love the found-sound style, it all fits together so well!

Yup, nothing wrong with dandelions. The guitar is very nice here, it sounds sometimes like a sitar, and bleeds everywhere in an expansive fashion. I hope Monstrosus comes back to WB! The rap is awesome there - bringing some additional organic chaos. Original track, nice jam!

This is such a great aural journey. I think this is why I love coming back to your tracks.

Love the bass line and a really enjoyable track.  Lots of interesting stuff going on so it makes it quite unique!

The guitars have a cool unique sound to them and meshed with the bassline even better. The vocals give it a trippy out of body feel.
