That's Just Life

This song was recorded & edited in the one-hour window I had for my "own time". (Mostly the days go by together with the kids, now that it's summer vacation.) With this time limit, I simply went through my notebook and checked for anything that seemed to ignite something in me, then it was strumming a few chords that felt interesting and correct for the vibe I felt from the sentence..and then I recorded it, as a spontaneous one-take.
The sentence that caught me was this sentence from the notebooks from my twenties: "That's not weird, that's just life, you said, and waved it all away like a fly".
The fly from last week got to fly around in this song too, but in a smaller role...
