This little song was created in order to amuse my 2-year-old who loves cars.
I was inspired to create this song when I was listening to music with my son, and noticed how excited he was to hear the song "Autobahn" by Kraftwerk. He enjoyed hearing all the sounds of different cars and proceeded to point them out to me but he was disappointed when the car sounds were replaced by mere melodies.
So I set myself a challenge of making a song where I include car sounds throughout, while creating a melodic whole.
For this song, I only use sounds and a loop from the sound library in FL studio, and I'm sure the song could grow into something more interesting if I added a bigger variation of sounds or even recorded car sounds myself, but I did not have the time to do so this week (maybe a later project). And sometimes it can be interesting to see what you come up with when working within a limitation.
The song turned out quite different from my original intention, but not necessarily in a bad way. A fun experiment making something totally different than what I usually do.
