Bit of a rush job, playing around with Iota Mini and sforzando

What a beaut. For a rush job it sounded great. I loved the tones used.

bing bong ping pong.  love how the melody sounds like it would go higher, than it drops down and stays in the same lower key.  happy and worrysome sounding within the same melody.

not key, but note.  *  either way, nice speedtrash

I dig it.  I really like the instrument choice, they all mix together for a really nice sound.  Drums sound great too.  Good stuff for #speedtrash.

Snare sounds super crisp. Well done. Ambiance created with those synths is very cool.

This is really interesting - subtly unnerving but totally catchy anyway.

nicely put.  yes. subtly unnerving.

I like the contrast between the cheerful xylophone in the front and the slightly more sinister ones in the back/lower range!

Awesome energy on this one, that mallety instrument has such a cool groove going.  I love that the instrumentation change at the end to, it really gives an odd sense of closure to the whole thing.

I had to look up sforzando. Interesting. I think when listening in head phones, the changes in dynamics creates a varying depth effect.  Drums are in fixed spacial position but mallet instruments have depth and dimension bouncing forward and back a bit. It's a cool effect. Beautiful sounds and a bit of a pensive vibe, on edge a bit.  not laid back.

sforzando has been fun, it's got some really great & really whacky default sounds.

and yeah, the depth is cool and unintentional. I hear a melody toward the end that is not there ... I can mute a couple tracks and it goes away, and I can solo each track and it's still missing, but altogether, I hear it. Spooky.

I think I know what you're saying and have experienced that phenomenon. A third melody emerging from two others.  It's a bitch to track that down when you are mixing!

Love what you've done with the xylos, they sound super warm! Lead is v pretty too!

Im going to rely on you for "speedtrash" one of these weeks. "Hey Memo, can you crank out a beat in 2 hours for me thats better than all of my music? Thanks." Great job brother.

Nice mellow beat, really digging it.
