Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

This week I pulled out every synthwave/outrun trope I could think of. Minor key? Check. 4 to the floor beat? Check. Rhythmically slavish bass line? Check. Basic melody with a 80s Roland synth? Check. Random arp dropped in for good measure? Check. Title consisting of either "Night" or "Drive"?

This totally works--great bass ostinato, and you could put almost anything on it and have it work. As it is, you've put some very strong and compelling stuff over the top. Well done!
