Was messing around with some mixed meter and ended up writing this 7/16 + 9/16 sequence that dug its claws into me until I turned it into a full track. Its a different texture and mood to anything I've ever written before, but it was so fun to play in this space.

A lot of my progressive metal influence definitely comes out in this one. My partner said it reminded them of The Mars Volta, and my brother named TesseracT. Both comparisons made me feel very happy.

Hope y'all enjoy. I start a new job on Monday so the hours I'm able to dedicate to producing will be reduced, but I'm going to try to keep up with the weekly uploads.
