Flat Stretch Station

By matthewAllen on February 27, 2022 9:17 pm

Back to some dub with the Matrisse matrix mixer running a couple of feedback loops with the Strymon timeline and the eurorack palette. Sequenced by the OXI one and OMX 27. Bass and and Lead via the Digitone

Super hypnotic dub sounds, I dig it. Love that huge snare sound at the ends of the bars.

The part that comes in halfway through really helps it breathe and go deeper.

I can very vividly picture this playing on the car radio of an old truck driving across the vast tundra, hoping to find civilization soon. Excellent dubby atmosphere

Aww, I should check back here more often. Thank you both for the feedback!

I have been spending a lot of time with the effect feedback loops to try and get a snare that has a classic feel, but is still mine. I'm glad this one resonates smile

Yeah I usually try to name the tracks before I make them, so they don't color any perception of them, but this one got renamed after because it had so much flavor.
