Chronitect - Assimilate

Back again for week 2 with another DnB track.
Thought of adding proper vocals into this but I actually think it's ended up better without them.
And here is the micro-story:
Sparx was completely out of breath, but she knew that if she stopped and gave in, it would all be over—the empire would take her in and she’d never be herself again. She couldn’t let that happen. She knew too much for them to catch her now.
The thud of heavily armoured footsteps echoed through the corridors behind her. Ahead of her, the corridor stretched endlessly into darkness.
There’s no escape…
Sparx stood still, and closed her eyes, attempting to slow her breathing.
“I have to fight…” she muttered under her breath.
She opened her eyes and turned around, meeting face-to-face with several armoured Trackers, their weapons raised in her direction.
“You will assimilate,” the leader said, the sound of his voice amplified by his suit.
“And if I refuse?” Sparx said back to him.
The Trackers’ blasters charged up in unison.
“Then we’ll take you by force,” they replied.
A small smile curled up on the edge of Sparx’s lip.
Here we go.
She charged towards them.
