I happened to be digging into salsa this week, wanting to get to know the mechanics behind the rhythms in my roots while I practice on the M8. Then I found out Willie Colon passed away, someone whose music has always been in the background of my life. Decided to try and sample some trumpets from one of his classics. It won't do his genius any justice, but at least a little tribute.
