title is a bit messy but i have a broad concept with what i'm uploading to WB at the minute and i wanted to make sure this was marked in a way that makes it clear it's not a part of it (: i had an idea of some lana del rey living dangerous type track for Audrey from Twin Peaks, but i haven't had the time to put it together heart

i'm loosing my flat soon, so i'm trying to make the most out of seeing my friends while i still live in Dublin. i also need to pack up and work full time, so there are just going to be weeks when i don't have the time. had to decide if i want to skip weeks when that happens, or if i want to upload something much lower effort. decided it's more in the spirit of weeklybeats to do whatever i can around life, so i made this in an evening (:

some quick liquid DnB thing and a short vocal hook smile

lyrics:
i need ur love
but it won't ever be enough
i'll take what i can get though
if you don't try, you don't know

want you to hold-
hold me tight and don't let go
i won't stop 'til you say when
close your eyes i'll meet you then

Another beauty. I love this. As long as you have time for lyrics, a mic, and your reverb I think we all win.

Very clean DnB, a worthwhile upload. Five stars. To be clear, I don't give five stars for effort, I sometimes really feel like listening to shit like Mitch Murder's "Hurricane" and this is easily on par with that. And the wistful lyrics work very well. Kind of funny when throwaway songs are still AAA quality.

The only thing Mitch would do is to make this 5 minutes long, but from the description I get it. It's a miracle to get close to 2 minutes of a song under these circumstances.

Run if you can't fly. Walk if you can't run. Keep the streak alive if you can, but don't worry about it if life gets too messy.

And by the way you missed the first battle of the war between #creamernation and #carbonation during weeklymeets.

wanna hire you when i finally make my y2k snowboarding dating sim. no notes. this is gold.

thx for sharing the tough bits.

So good! Hits the 'crying in the club' vibe which I can never get enough of

Man, 2026 sounds rough so far. But you're doing great, this doesn't sound throw-away at all! And even if it did, I'm glad you're making time for friends. What would be the point of making music at the expense of connection? smile

This soup is good : ) hope all goes well with the transitions

oh wow i love this!!! pls more dnb interludes. hope everything goes okay with the move heart

Fantastic... Great track
Your vocals are so good 🩵

You were talking about dashing off a quick track…and then drop this absolute banger. The way my jaw dropped…lovely dynamics, tight and clean. And those vocals!

So happy you can find space for creativity. And don’t worry if you can’t! Sometimes you need a moment to just breathe and Be heart

YESSSSS

Solid track. Love the lighter vocals compared to the faster paced drums.

Well played!

awesomeeeeeee it's SO WB spirit, as this is a really nice track esp since it was made in such a limited circumstance. nice lil vocal hooks and beautiful catchy little synth melodies. great work. cheers

Your vocal rhythm is such a nice combo with the drum n bass feels.  The lead synth solo is hypnotic too and had me chair groovin!  Listened twice cuz good! Excellent work! WB is a great way to journal and look back on everything.  I hope things can slow down for ya a bit soon.

this is so nice. thank you

This is such a cool D&B sketch! Stellar vocal work as always. big_smile

thank u for listening everyone! much appreciated 🌸🌺🌹🌻

i took a listen to that mitch track and it's a huge vibe actually. synthwave liquid actually works perfectly wow. I was briefed by the creamer council on carbonation too and we are trying to find a peaceful resolution heart

love the idea of WB as a journal, i will certainly be looking back after it's all said and done heart

I really like the delicate sound of your music. This song is probably my favorite you’ve made because of the genre but your ability to transfer your style to a new genre, similar to what a remix would do, is an incredible talent. You’ve made it this far, I'm sure a “low effort” upload would still be a solid song. Great song this week and good luck on your move.

hope you fly through all the life changes smoothly, Maisie smile

I'll echo many of the above comments, I hope you're making the best of it... I'm glad you found some time to make music this week... and I hope you find time for it in the weeks to come... either way, I love the track, great groove, and the little plucky arp, works so well to hold the harmony together while keeping that driving energy.  Awesome work.

Great DnB. Awesome work.
