A broken euclidean algorithm feeding six or so instances of Operator inside Ableton Live with the transport off (sequencing Live like a synth) with a few channels of midi going to a circuit bent DR-550 with a patchbay I built. The percussion, bass and leads are all Operator. I'm adjusting the master tuning and fading channels in and out by hand. The broken implementation of the euclidean algo adds a weird accidental groove which I ended up going with.
I had fun connecting parts of the patchbay to potentiometers I had lying around and sweeping the modulation point. I'll probably make a second patchbay with low value pots for my drum machines.
Spent far too long on this implementation of the euclidean algo, gotta try not to get so hung up on making everything from scratch. Been wanting to make more rhythmic submissions, could have been more variation here but I'm still happy with this one.

Vibrance! Definitely a lot of braindance happenings
Ooh I love this as a creative method - might have to give something inspired by this a go. Sounds great.
Great track! So what did you build the euclidian rhythm on? Hardware or software? Excellent use of Ableton's Operators too. I totally know what you mean by trying not to get hung up on building everything from scratch. Pretty much everything I do! haha. Really feeling some Autechre vibes mid way in with the side-chaining action.

Awesome, cheers! Yeah i think this one feels most resolved in the mix around the 4:00 minute mark, but mostly just a rough sketch shooting for those ae vibes - awesome it landed with you
Built the euclidean generator in Gen~ i actually fixed the issue this morning and added a rotate function so it’s basically ready to release if you want it. Works at signal rate too

Yeah think i’m going to fix this one up and release it
Lots going on here, but it sounds hella cool
So many grooves to hook into!
cheers mortis - spent 6 hours working on the sequencer and maybe 3 hours on the track and operator programming - keen to edit this one into shape
Yeah sure! I'd be keen to give it a run. Cheers mate.
