Isle of Meat

Breakdowns! So I got another heavy song, this time with some chuggy breakdowns. I had planned to sing on this one but I just wasn't able to physically growl... Just one of those days, but here is the instrumental version of the song.

Cant go wrong with a chugfest. good stuff!

Lol nice dynamic shift from island music to metal, makes me think of Dethklok being stranding on an island or something.

"Upon the Isle of Meat, where bones are the streets,
Blood-red skies above, where the slaughter never sleeps!"

Nice transition where you panned the guitars and roll in with the double kick. Also I heard some chiptune sounds being integrated as well, cool to hear you mixing all the styles together. Great job so far this year, keep it up! Would love to see you at the finish line.

I really like that acoustic intro. The chords you are arpeggiating sound really nice. It's awesome how it just kicks into super heavy metal all suddenly. I like that sludgy guitar tone you have in this one! Nice to hear some breakdowns. I haven't heard a china cymbal ride in a while and I forgot how much fun it is! The drums sound so good. They have so much low end and sound really loud but without harsh. I need to figure out how to get my kick to have that pop to it! I think it's cool that at the end you slowly bring the intensity down and then lead out with the nice acoustic stuff again. Great work!

This maybe a song I go back to and finish cause I do like some ideas. I had lyrics written by the lady again about crashing on an island full of cannibals.
