Dragon God (ft. ViridianLoom)

Finally! I had some time to write something fun! This is a song about battle between Tyr and the old god corrupted dragon Galakrond. Those familiar with Warcraft may know the story tongue This one the wifey helped with lyrics again. She's such a badass! Anyways, I think I have it mixed as good as possible with the time given but i've been tweaking it as much as I can. Also vocals could be a bit better, but since I don't normally sing, I usually only have a few attempts before my voice gets all raspy. Shout out to the homie @Viridianloom for the solo. He's a far better guitarist than me so getting him to solo was awesome! Enjoy!

Lyrics

Fight this battle, this is war
Find Galakrond, even the score
Die by my hand, it's what is left
I will take, as you did

My weapon gone
my hammer devoured trapped by your maw
I will have my
revenge will be sweet, a deadly justice
I will mutilate your
Body will be nothing but brimstone and
Your own fire
Nothing can stop me
your fate has been sealed

This dragon god will know
no cage yet death seems too harmonious
but my eyes see red I want nothing more
than for you to meet your end
and for you to be destroyed

Weakened I hit the floor, my battle cry
My last resort

Galakrond a worthy foe
His pained eyes and torn limbs
I know I have bested him,
But did I do enough to win?

Heavy and chunky. Nice. Great job with the vocals, man!

Wow, epic collab! big_smile

Damn dude, the vocals turned out sick! Really enjoyed the heaviness of this track, especially those doomy elements post-solo. That sweeping sound at the end (flying fireballs? A gryphon taking off?) made me think there was some sound coming from outside and then I realized it was your track lol. The most epic collab is when Sharon writes your lyrics wink

Haha song is about a dragon and you guess fireballs and a gryphon taking off?! haha it has that same effect like when you're listening to a song and sirens are in them so you turn your music down while driving cause you think you're getting pulled over. Thanks again for the solo man!

good lord! \m/

Heeeaavvvyy. Dang I can't even imagine how to sing like this lol ViridianLoom's solo also melted my face and it's only 7am here, I wasn't ready T.T

Thanks everyone! The growls are getting better and better each song. Still can only do it for a short while but I've been doing it in a car a bit more on the way to and from work so hopefully we just keep getting better!

Woah dude! Nice opening grunt! That was sick. You have really awesome death metal vocals! I really like the back and forth between the low and higher vocals. Your higher register growls are awesome as well! Your wife did a great job with the lyrics and Viridianloom did a nice solo as well! This is a great song! Excellent work! Hope to hear more of your metal tunes throughout the year!
