had a really tough time getting an idea together this week and felt more rushed than previous weeks. i spent a long time trying to pin down a theme to build on that felt interesting. i landed on envisioning a high stakes run that gets intercepted and introduces some form of antagonist to the listener.

unfortunately it was an absolute slog to get this one ready. nothing really came naturally and a lot of idea shifting happened but it was important to push through the creative block to get something presentable.
overall, i think it is a cool idea but it didn't have the legs for me to get a complete song out of it. it makes for a cool enemy theme though smile

Very, very cool! The buildup is stellar, in my opinion. It starts quite mysterious and then suddenly builds up a lot of energy! I think that if you give it more time and find an idea for how to pick up that energy again somewhere around 1.30-1.40, this can become a really great track (I mean, what you have so far sounds great to me already, but it does feel like a story with a super strong start that doesn't finish yet). smile
